Active Basic and Deep subscribers can create personal access tokens when MCP is enabled. Invited pilot accounts may also have access. Connect shows your eligibility, permissions, token expiry and limits.

Token creation and the connection check use no credits. MCP search submissions share your account’s credits and daily limits with website searches. Each token also has a lifetime submission-attempt cap. Deep and Frontier analyses remain separate website tools.

Use a developer client with Bearer-header support, such as VS Code or Cursor. G62’s browser OAuth connection for ChatGPT is not available yet. Your assistant’s subscription and model charges are separate.

What is the difference between Basic and Deep?

Basic runs standard patent queries. Deep also uses frontier language models to analyze public patent text with a larger reasoning budget. Analysis costs a fixed number of credits; provider-reported tokens appear in Usage.

How do upgrades and cancellations work?

Manage your subscription in the Stripe billing portal from Usage & plan. An upgrade takes effect after its payment succeeds and adds the difference in credits for the current period. Downgrades and cancellation take effect at the end of your paid period.

What happens if payment or research fails?

An unpaid invoice does not add credits. Known failed searches and analyses are not charged credits. If a request’s outcome is uncertain, check the same request again to recover it safely.

How do test payments work?

When the checkout says “Test mode,” Stripe test cards simulate payments and no real money is collected. Test and live payments use separate credentials and credit entitlements.

What information can I submit?

Use public information only. Research notes stay in your browser. Search requests use G64; public patent analysis uses OpenRouter. Results are research aids and require human review.
